TTT Welcomes Eva Jelar, TTA National Pathways Coach to Tasmania

Eva holds the highest level of German Acreditation. Has been a High Performance Table Tennis Coach for 43 years., 37 of which was spent as National Coach for the German Table Tennis Federation. 

Eva has been responsible for the development of many of Germany's most successful athletes of recent years,  amongst them Jörg Roßkopf, Steffen Fetzner, Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Ruwen Filus, Christian Süß, and Petrissa Solja. Eva is experienced at developing athletes from the talent identificate stages to the Olympic Podium. 

Other acalades include...

German national coach in charge youth High Performance program pathways from 1983 to 1989, which consisited of an identification system which fed into a newly established German table tennis centre (DTTZ), both of which are firmly established and successfully running today. 

In 1989, German Head Coach, leading the technical direction of the German Table Tennis Federation.  Board Member responsiblities consisiting of national and international cooperation (with German state assocations and international assocations), management of the national coaching team, performance &  management all national teams and development of the High Performance system within Germany. 

From 1996, Eva held the position of Head Coach for the Youths teams, and have coached both the Cadet Boys’ and the Junior Girls’ teams intermittently. Until 2004 I was also the responsible coach at the DTTZ until its move to Düsseldorf.

Also part of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Hopes Expert team, conducting regional, continential and world Hopes activies for the international federationals telent identification program.
